Sales Account Manager

  • Competitive Salary (Basic + Commission, £30,000 to £60,000 OTE based on experience)

The Role

Initially the role will be to work alongside one of the senior members of the team, to develop their accounts and get up to speed, assisting with looking after a broad customer base day to day.  There will be team and personal targets associated with the role and above all the job is to make sure that all customer needs are met in a timely manner.

This will progress to managing your own set of accounts with assistance from the senior member of the team as required, to develop your business and build long standing relationships with your customers.

There are certain essential skills we will require as part of this job role, to ensure that you do well and meet customer expectations:

 

  • Good Organisational Skills – You will be required to ensure all customer requirements are followed up within a timely manner and prioritise your workload to ensure high priority deadlines are not missed during busy periods.
  • Self-Motivation – You will be granted a certain amount of autonomy as you progress in the role, we are looking for someone with the appetite to not only meet but exceed their targets.
  • Interpersonal Skills – You will be required to build long standing relationships with your customers and regularly run face to face customer review meetings smoothly.
  • Good Written Work – You will be expected to write customer quotations and proposals upholding the professional image of the business.
  • Appearance and Timekeeping – You will be expected to arrive on time or early and represent the company professionally.
  • Attention to Detail – We can be dealing with large customer proposals with a lot of moving parts, attention to detail is vital to ensure all requirements are met and projects are carried out smoothly.
Desirable Skills

In addition to the above essential skills, there are some other attributes we are looking for that will mean that you hit the ground running and excel in this role:

  • Commercial Skills – We would prefer someone who knows how to price up a quotation and can work with a customer to turn that into an order.
  • Project Management – Some of the larger jobs will require regular meetings with key members of staff to keep the project on track and within budget.
  • Knowledge of Technology – Previous experience with IT products will assist you in making sound recommendations for our customers.
  • Education – Higher Education and/or relevant University Degree is taken into consideration.
  • Experience – We would ideally like someone who has held a similar role at an IT Reseller / Managed Service Provider for a year or more. We are not looking for a wealth of experience in the area, preferring someone eager to learn and driven to succeed.

 

Additional Requirements
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out with offer of employment, a clear result is required.
  • Prepared to work non-standard hours as required due to customer requirements.

IT Systems Engineer
Key Responsibilities

To perform installations, field and helpdesk support, mainly in London, the Home Counties and at our offices in Chesham.

You must be a team player with good communication skills and a friendly personality, have excellent troubleshooting skills, and be good at administration and documentation.
